I can't reset my Facebook password because I can't access the email or mobile phone number on my account.

 We know it can be frustrating to be locked out of your account, we'd like to help you get back in as quickly as possible. Here are three different tips you can try:


1. Use an alternate email or phone number to log in

  • If you've added more than one email or phone number to your Facebook account, you may be able to use one of them to get back in.
  • For help finding which email or phone numbers are associated with your account, go to facebook.com/login/identify and follow the on-screen instructions.

2. Try to regain access to your email account

If you signed up for Facebook using an email address, you can try contacting your email service provider to recover your email account.

  • To get started, check your email's sign-in screen for an option that says something like Trouble signing in?
  • Many email service providers also have online chat support.

3. Double check the way you're entering your mobile phone number

  • Make sure to enter your entire mobile phone number, including the country code.
  • Leave out any extra zeros, plus signs (+) or other special characters.
